The world was forever changed on June 21, 1967 when Mr. King David Green and Mrs. Willie Pearl Green welcomed the birth of there baby boy who they named Alan David Green.
He was a native of Mount Vernon, NY but was raised in Statesboro, GA and then relocated to Atlanta, GA. He was a graduate of of Mount Vernon High School in Mount Vernon, NY. Alan enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking, fishing, dancing, horseback riding and motorcycle riding. Alan was a member of All for One Bikers Club. During all of his fifty-two seasons of life, he made friends across all walks of life . He was loved and no doubt will always be remembered.
Alan was preceded in death by both parents. In his 52nd season of life, surrounded by his loving family, Alan passed into eternal rest at the Brightmoor Hospice in Griffin, GA.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories; his children, Christopher Green and Taisa Green both of Spartanburg, SC, Keir Seabrooks of Morrow, GA, Kalen Green of Jonesboro, GA; grandchildren, Isaiah Green of Spartanburg, SC, Messiah McNight of Atlanta, GA, Aniya Green of Spartanburg, SC, Rylee Mercer of Jonesboro, GA, Zaila Green, Zamira Green and Zaria Greem all of Lakeland, FL; two sisters, Lisa (Larry) Edwards of College Park, GA and Shirley Robinson of Brooklyn, NY; four brothers, Kenneth Green of Riverdale, GA, Douglas Green and Daniel Green both of Decatur, GA, Sheniqua Smith of NY, Johnathan Speights of Worcestor, MA; a host of other relatives and friends.
Public visitation will be held on the day of the service from 2:00 P.M until the hour of the service at the H. Griner Funeral Home Chapel.
Celebration of Life of Service for Mr. Alan David Green will be held on Saturday November 23, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. in the H. Griner Funeral Home Chapel, 186, GA-279, Fayetteville, GA 30214.
