Anthony James Mincey

BALTIMORE, MD- Mr. Anthony James Mincey was born into this life on December 8,1973 to Jeannette Mincey Baker and Carlie Cardell Mincey Sr. in Fairfield, CA.

The Bulloch County native was a 1993 graduate of Ballou High School, Washington, DC. 

Anthony enjoyed drawing, martial arts and loved comic books.

On Thursday, April 4, 2019 in his 45th season of life he entered into the Lords embrace at his residence in Baltimore, MD.

He was preceded in passing by his father, Carlie Cardell Mincey, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Juanita “Neet” Lanier and Mikell Lundy; paternal grandparents, Carl Mincey and Mae Ethel Harvey Mincey. 

Because love is far greater than death his love will live in the hearts of his mother, Jeannette (Jeff) Baker of LaPlata, MD; stepmother, Anne L. Waters Mincey, Garner, NC; two brothers, Carlie Cardell Mincey, Jr. of LaPlata, MD, Omar Maurice (Sabina) Mincey of Galt, CA; one sister, Krystal Starr (fiancé Jeremy) Mincey of Atlanta, GA. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Public Viewing for Mr. Mincey will be held on Saturday April, 13, 2019 from 12 noon until the hour of service at the church. 

A Celebration of his life will be shared on Saturday April 13, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Brannen Chapel United Methodist Church, 20 Elm Street, Statesboro, GA with the Reverend Kenneth Griffin, Eulogist/Pastor. A Private Burial will be held at a later date in the A. C Dunlap Memorial Cemetery “Historical Eastside”
