Brenda Elise (Worrell) Lawson

Ms. Brenda Elise Worrell Lawson was born into time on August 5, 1946 in Jersey City, NJ. to the parentage of the late Mrs. Delores and Mr. Nelson Worrell Sr.

Brenda was a graduate of Lincoln High School of JCNJ. Brenda furthered her education and graduated from Stevens Technical School. Shortly
after high school met and married her sweetheart Robert Lawson of this union three children were born. 
 

She relocated to Marietta, Georgia and raised her family. Brenda was employed with Coca-Cola as a Network Engineer, after many years she retired.

Affectionately called "Bebe" she enjoyed reading, singing and seeking family genealogy was some of her pleasure along with spoiling her grandchildren. 

Brenda always had a joyous disposition and a smile to match. Always knowledgeable of history, current events and her conversations were interesting and held your attention.

In her 72nd season of life on Saturday February 9, 2019 Ms. Brenda E. Lawson entered into eternal rest in Marietta, Georgia. 

Brenda was preceded in death by a brother, Nelson Worrell Jr.

She leaves to cherish her fond memories, her loving children Kyle Lawson of Atlanta, Georgia, Erica (Carsell) Henderson of Douglasville, Georgia and Bryan Lawson (Fiance' Jordan Davis) of East Pointe, Georgia; 11 grandchildren  Brittany, Jasmine, Andre, Eric, Ayden, Sydney, Larry, David, Kylyah, Kareem, and Kaissiah; Devoted Sister Maxine Chen, a host of other nieces, nephews, extended family and friend.

A Celebration of Life Service for Ms. Brenda E. Lawson will be held on Saturday February 16, 2019 at the hour of 11:00 AM at the Atlanta International Christian Praise Center, 3480 Greenbriar Parkway Suite 302 SW Atlanta, Georgia 30331 Bishop Richard B. Lankford Sr., Pastor/Eulogist
