WRIGHTSVILLE,GA - Mr. Daniel Woods, Sr. was born into time on January 9, 1955 to the parentage of Norman and Ruby Nell Woods in Wrightsville, GA. He attended Johnson County Public School System. Daniel, united with the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was employed with Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) until his health failed. 

Daniel enjoyed fishing, watching Western movies and cartoons, his favorite movies where many that starred Bruce Lee. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings; Ms. Mary Ann Woods and Mr. David Woods. On Saturday evening Mr. Daniel Woods peacefully passed into eternal rest at PruittHealth - Old Capitol Nursing Home in Louisville, GA.

Because love is far greater than death his memory will linger in the hearts of his devoted and loving wife, Mrs. Geraldine Woods of Wrightsville, GA; three daughters, Mrs. Cindy (Wiley) Woods-Johnson of Jackson, SC., Ms. Mindy Woods of Wadley, GA, and Ms. Coretta Woods of Swainsboro, GA.; three sons, Mr. Daniel Woods Jr., Mr. Aaron Lee Woods, Lynn Woods all of Dublin, GA; a loving granddaughter, Selena Tikia Hernandez; two sisters, Ms. Annette Woods of Wrightsville, GA and Ms. Dollie Woods of Dublin, GA.; two brothers, Mr. Curtis Woods and Mr. Joseph Woods both of Wrightsville, GA; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

Due to the COVID-19 crisis with the concern of health and safety of the family, friends and community social distancing will be enforced during the Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Daniel Woods, Sr. which will be held on Saturday June 13, 2020 at 4:00 P.M. in the Eloise Cannon Chapel of Wrightsville Memorial Funeral Home, 555 West Court Street, Wrightsville, GA.31096.
