Kenneth Ingram Obituary

DUBLIN, GA

Mr. Kenneth Devon “KD” Ingram, was born on April 24, 1942 in Clarkdale, GA. He was the son of the late James and Evelyn Ingram. He was a 1960 graduated of South Cobb High School in Mableton, GA.  KD was employed with the DeKalb County Police Department and served with the agency as a police officer for 27 Years (1969-1996).

He was sitting Master of the Dexter 340 Masonic Lodge. 

KD was a generous man with a huge heart. He loved his grand kids and family. He enjoyed coaching youth sports. KD was often seen sporting his fedora playing a game of golf or working in his garden. He enjoyed traveling and accomplished his dream of visiting all 50 states just this past year.

Through the years he had organized several trips with his Mom and Dad to California, a road trip to North Carolina (including his brother Tony) and also visiting Yellowstone National Parks in 1972.

KD will be missed by his family as well as his many friends. KD  inspired all by his favorite two quotes; “Just Do It” or “It All Pays The Same”

He was preceded in death by both parents, James ad Evelyn Ingram; his siblings, James "Edsel", Neil, Curtis, Max, Keith Marcia Joan and Cam. 

On Tuesday November 3, 2020, KD passed into eternal rest at the age 78, at his residence.

Mr. Ingram is survived by his children, Todd (Holly) Ingram of Dudley, GA, Wes (Lisa) Timpson of High Point, North Carolina and Ken Timpson of Lawrenceville, GA and Diana (Scott) Sanders of Newnan, GA; three grandchildren, Ansley Ingram and Aiden Ingram both of Dudley, GA and Jack Roberts of Atlanta, GA; his siblings, Robert “Bobby” (Nacy) Ingram of Silver Creek, GA, Linda (David) Linderman of Orlando, FL, Joy (Greg) Prangley of Clearwater, FL, Tony(Maureen) Ingram of Silver Springs, MD, Patricia “Tricia”  (Roy) O’Shields of Mableton,GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A celebration of Life In Memory of Mr. Kenneth "KD" Ingram will be held on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at 3:00 P.M. at Buckhorn United Methodist Church, Dudley, GA with Pastor Jared Middleton.

Due to the COVID-19 crisis with the concern of health and safety of the family, friends, and community, SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL BE ENFORCED DURING ALL SERVICES.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made in loving memory of Mr. Kenneth "KD" Ingram to The Masonic Children's Home, 1417 Nottingham Dr, Macon, GA 31211.
