JACKSON, GA

Michael LeBlanc, beloved son, brother and nephew passed away November 7, 2020. Born on September 3, 1978 in Atlanta, Georgia, he was the son of Dawn Kavan LeBlanc and Joseph “Bo” Worth LeBlanc. He grew up in Flowery Branch with his brother Daniel in a loving family, graduated from West Hall High School (’97) and later attended Master's Commission at Free Chapel, his church home. He was an entrepreneur and artist at heart, which led to a career as a Life and Health Insurance Broker and Production Artist at VoxRecordings.

Michael spent his entire life in North Georgia. His early years were spent playing baseball and riding dirt bikes with his brother Daniel and lifelong friends. Michael had a strong faith in God and shared the Bible with people he felt needed it the most. He loved fishing and boating, his dogs, Lexus and Hero, and above all, making music.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Victoria Fletcher and Johnny Dickerson; paternal grandparents, Geraldine (Jerry) Conner LeBlanc and Joseph Wilton LeBlanc, Jr.; paternal uncle, Worth Jackson Conner, Jr.; and maternal cousin, Neil Smith.


Michael is survived by his son Maddox Gravitt; mother, Dawn LeBlanc; father, Bo (Libby) LeBlanc; brother, Daniel (Lauren Postma) LeBlanc; step-sister and step-brothers, Marjorie (Zoe) Freggens, Drew (Martin) Freggens, Boyd Freggens, Max Freggens. Michael is also survived by his maternal: aunts and uncles, Brandy Smith, Kerry Presnell, Wayne Presnell, Yolonda Ross, and cousin, Robert Smith. In addition, he is survived by his paternal: aunts and uncles, Debbie (Mike) Foster, Lynn (Robert Boggs) LeBlanc, Chris (Diana) LeBlanc, Lisa (Charles Caler) Henderson, Tim (Sabryna) LeBlanc; cousins, Christopher (Brie) Foster, Brittany (Ajani) Washington, Chad Henderson, Cooper Henderson and Asher Washington; great aunts and uncles Ann (Doug) Walton, Hannie (Wilma) Conner, Owen (Marylou) Conner and Bobby Conner.


Due to current social distancing guidelines, there is no immediate memorial service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The Gift of Music Foundation, whose mission is to change lives by giving all school children access to musical instruments, programs and teachers.

The family would like to thank all of you who have reached out to us in this time of need. We appreciate all the love you have bestowed on us, and more so, the love you have given Michael over the years.
