Richard Carl Vaz, Jr.

October 27, 1989 ~ November 23, 2019 (age 30) 30 Years Old

Obituary

North Augusta, SC - Richard Carl Vaz, III, age 30 was born in Providence, he was the son of Eve Marie Rose and Richard C. Vaz, Jr.

He was the eldest child and eldest brother to Camron Cesar Vaz & Asiah Lee Vaz. Richard aspired to be a culinary chef and attended Johnson & Wales University. He was an established individual and graduated from East Providence High School in 2007.

Richard was part of the National Honors Society which was a nationwide organization. Selection is based on four criteria: scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Richard fell into every category and was well established at an early part of his life. He loved taking pictures and being well-dressed which earned him a spot with Model Club Inc which is based in Boston. He modeled for roughly two years.

He worked as a “Versace” mannequin model based in Manhattan New York City for a year.

He was granted an estate from his great grandfather and moved back to Rhode Island. Richard had many different jobs and no matter where he worked he was always the most outstanding individual and hardest worker. He worked for CVS pharmacy and had been working there for about three years. He was loved by his co-workers and management. Richard always went above and beyond for his family and no matter what, he showed his love in any way shape or form. If he couldn’t physically be somewhere family oriented he made it known that his presence was made either by a phone call or text.

Richard was a God fearing man and always looked to scriptures that were either sent by his mother or His Great Grandmother “Nana Dot.” Nana Dot was the main source of his religious background and many others including his mother Eve. Nana Dot guided Richard and helped him along to help him create a bond with God that would be everlasting.

He loved the idea of being creative and always had things that nobody else had. He loved new technology and no matter what, he was up to date on it whenever something new was to come out.

Richard was a warm, sweet, very intelligent person who was deeply loved and will be missed by hundreds of family members and friends. He will also be remembered for the stylish and innovative way he put clothes together and made everything match with his fashionable outfits.

On Saturday November 23, 2019 at the Augusta University Medical Center, Richard passed into eternal rest from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

In addition to his siblings Richard leaves to cherish his two biological Parents; Eve (Marie) Rose and Richard Carl Vaz Jr.; step father Ronald Liston Rose; step sister Aliesia Tori Lupo; maternal grandparents, John Allen Edwards Jr, Brenda Lee (Pina) Edwards and Nadine Edwards; paternal grandparents, Christine Burke and Hugh Burk; several aunts, uncles and cousins.  H
